David, IMHO the move in the SOX is too powerful to be stopped by a couple of earnings shortfalls... unless it would be a SEVERE one by LSI <g>, I've been operating on the premise that the big funds are getting down to three places to put new money: Tech, oil, and small caps. With the volume behind today's move, I would be quite surprised to see any significant reversal by LSI .
--- Be advised, though, that I have 25% of my LSI investment in the stock...the rest is waiting until Aug or Sept...I so expect a pullback by then. Hope this helps. TSO

David, After looking at the charts for today, my main observation if that we had a new closing high, on volume. That is hard to interpret as anything other than positive.. Here is the chart:
207.95.154.130
The previous intra-day high was 27 1/2, closing at 27, on volume of 3.7 Mil shares. Today had an intraday high at 27 7/8 with a close of 27 1/4 on higher volume of 5.4 mil shares. For my money, I hold for further action.. Good luck on your decision.. TSO
And BTW, had a reading of the chart by a fellow amateur who sees 32 as reasonable..(vs my 29)...FWIW... Cheers!

Amazing what a bit of an oversold condition can do when a bunch of funds have LOTS of money in a new quarter, no?
But LSI is running weaker than I anticipated... might you have been right to err on the side of caution?... TSO
