That sounds like a critical problem for FBN's head of R&D. Could be Y1.997 bug, could be misdirected memory paging, could be a Pepsi in the keyboard. Whatever it is, I'm sure FBN has a solution for it.

What do I do about the monthly payroll that was supposed to go out on Friday?

Buy an equal amount of shares of FBNA. You'll have 3 days to pay. By then the shares will have tripled or more. Then, give the employees a 2% bonus and pocket the rest. That's what I did with my programmers' paychecks.
