Kim,

Congratulations! This milestone post, number 1000, is hereby named the
"Kim Lingjaerde post"!

I know I speak not only for myself, but for the rest of the thread
when I say thank you! You have been more then generous
in sharing your knowledge, sense of humor and enthusiasm
about Microvision. You, probably more then anyone else, have
had the largest influence on setting the friendly and professional
tone of this thread, and I thank you!

Sincerely,
Jan

Jan,

Thanks very much for your contribution on revenues. I have some thoughts that I'd like to add. Of the $1.7 million in 1997 revenues, we really only know the source for $200,000. That $200,000 was attributable to the two SBIR contracts with the DoD. That leaves approximately $1.5 million to other sources. These sources were probably chiefly Boeing, Saab/Ericsson, and Company X.

We'd have to assume that these companies (and others) will add to Microvision's revenues during 1998. I won't speculate as to how much because it's not my style, but Microvision is already poised to more than triple its revenues this year. I would expect that by year end, it'll do better than that.

On another note I believe Microvision's backlog at the moment is $5.6 million rather than the $5.0 million quoted by Jan.

Stephan

I'm still following MVIS. I'm waiting for that "killer" contract to be announced. When/if one ever comes out, that is when I expect to buy. For now, may MVIS continue to develop. I wish I had held my LHSPF longer ! They, too, are on cutting edge technology which could change the way we use computers.

MVIS: ~ $ 14.00a
