If you wish to create your own definition of a "bear" as a formerly enthusiastic investor. You may do so.

If for some reason you cannot understand, you are forgiven anyway for your gratuitous insult to all the old timers who still have hope for this pathetic excuse for a corporation.

Spare us. We get insults enough without being shot for bears.

Robert, I think you're using the term bear rather loosely.

If I am repulsed by a stock, the last thing I do is hang out on it's [sic] thread.

If you mean repulsed by as being the opposite of attracted to in an investment sense then generally speaking I would agree, with a few exceptions. Given that, perhaps you have solved your own puzzle and just don't know it.
