Your last post sums up the situation. The next milestone is the filing of the NDA, then the denial a year after that. Anyone hoping for a gain by going long is in denial themselves.

True, Linda, but the company has indicated in the recent release that it expects to have the NDA submitted in the first half of 1998. This at least gives us another time frame in order to see how well the company keeps on track.

Also, many thanks, Dauntless, for the FDA info. I know a few other threads that will find the info useful as well.

Part of the dismal story painted by some on this thread is that there will be an 18 - 24 month wait while the FDA decides on the NDA. All this PROVES is that the time for a decision has most likely been overstated. I made NO CLAIM as to whether it would be approved - just that all things being equal, the FDA's contribution to the delay will probably not be as long as some have claimed.

Christ, I understand you're generally on the short side of this, but you used to be fairly objective. I could just as easily raise the possibility that Viagra could be recalled.
