Elroy it is all covered in SEC filings. The agreement dates back to around 1994. Aware just filed a 10-K and it is pretty much spelled out there.

OR...you can go back on the thread to the date the recent press release came out and read all that has been posted.

BUT...in a nut shell, it was all pretty much set up to be this way long ago. Why would AWRE want it any other way?

Sure. ADI bought Medialight some time ago. Medialight
has their own DSL boards/cores.

I suppose ADI would want to be freed up to use Aware's
code ... probably was a simple trade.
