You are mistaken Rod. I fully appreciate Beans, CORBA, and the move of Java into the enterprise. The problem is that I work for a company that has to deliver products yesterday. We can not afford to be bleeding edge advocates. When Java is mature we will use it to its fullest. IN the mean time, we will use the best of what works. I believe that COM is the best solution for WIndows today. Let's hope that you are correct and that both COM and WIndows will be irrelevant soon. BTW: I am in CT. NT is the platform for CT. COM, Exchange, and TAPI are what the market is screaming for. And the market is who pays my salary. JTAPI is a pipe dream today.
