Many exciting, seemingly worthwhile deals have crashed and burned in the presence of the illustrious, "conflict of interest". I suggest that if you indeed find that Voicetek is a direct competitor to PERI, then, being on board the good ship Peri, you'll be required to do battle on the high seas, destroy Voicetek, and bring the spoils back to PERI - where they belong. scott

Thomas, Yes in some areas(mostly call centers) Voicetek is a competitor to PERI. Another interesting tidbit is that VoiceTek also allows other manufacturers to embed their technology within their own products. For example, the enhanced services platform named OpenMedia and owned by Glenayre is based on the Voicetek software. Given this approach to distributing their product, many of us may well be in the same situation. Food for thought! Regards, Crash
