Pass pass,

TPI is a chemical company makes PVC related products. There is no dividend now. TPI is highly leveraged and may go bankrupt if Indonesian currency stays at current levels ( large dollar debt). In addition business is bad. They used to have a WEB site and you may get more recent information there.

I have no position in this company.

Jyoti

PassPass:

Do not know any other companies in Indonesia. Responding to your query because of DGIV ( Digitcom ) which last week acquired an Internet Service provider in Indonesia. Company is on a bit of a tear due to its technology and CEO's ability to close deals and contracts in Europe and Asia.

Been eyeing TLK for quite some time now but read somewhere that its book value is under $3; is that close to it? And does anyone feel that the large dividend is in jeopardy? TLK have any alliance or relationship with any other telcos??

Thanking in advance for any illumination.

L
