Bob, The Asia markets did take a beating last night. In the "new market" this news, in fact all news, is bullish. Very bullish. We will see new highs today.

>Asia taking another beating. Should we all load up on 'net stocks tomorrow?<

there is refuge in hyper space. We will probably see internet stocks go up again. Too bad I shorted too early. I am still short YHOO and AOL but if AOL continues running up like mad I may have to trim my position in that puppy. My YHOO is fine!

Yes, the Japanese are bringing their money over [to the US]and they are so greedy they are not satisfied with T bills; they want market action, 30%/year or better. I guess they are in for an eventual quadruple beating (US real state, Japan's equity and real state, and now US equities). It looks like in the end clever speculators will end up getting most of their hard earned money (or was it easy money?)
