A little bed time story, ever heard of the late Flagstar, they owned Denny's, Carrows, Cocco's, ElPollo Loco, and Hardes. Welp, they were cruising the 1980's in the teens to 20's, but much like BOST the losses kept accumulating which eventually led to BK, the entire company went to the bond holders, commons got nothing. This company now trades under the symbol DINE. If you want to see something really scary look up flstp and flsto, first one was the common, last the prefered, both now trading below .01 Anybody remember those days, last dividend on the prefered was paid about a year ago. This is a very competitive industry.
