Doug, their primary customers are oil companies and they rig up on whomever's rig is doing the work on a rental basis. Sales are mostly to contractors that have long term contracts or multiple rigs that could require top drives in their contracts. Because of teh portable nature of their equipment, it generally takes about a day to rig down or rig up so domestic land rig contractors can easily move a unit from rig to rig as the conditions permit/ demand. the company also has good international exposure although I believe the largest market is in North America.

Nabors owns a similar company called CANRIG. I have come across their equipment in alaska for BP/shared service and they are certainly in use with several companies working in the chalk.

While I am not real familiar with Kaman, their rare earth magnet motor technology appears to have good application in the oil field market because of teh power to size/weight. I understand their first application of this technology was military track vehicles.
