The fundi's on the boats stink, IMHO. I wouldn't touch them w/ Beeble's money.

I don't mean to be too harsh, I just think there are MUCH better opportunities in another area of oil service.

The boats may do well, but I think there is a higher uncertainty factor about whether they will or not that has been weighing on the stock prices. If they do well, the low PE's mean you'll come out like a bandit. If they don't do well, the low PE's may provide some cushion against the fall. But there is also the possibility that what looks maybe bad may come to look decidedly bad. It depends on how much tolerance you have for that risk. I feel more comfortable with the predictability of offshore drillers, because they are growing fast enough to whittle away the PE differentials, particularly if you happen to have a boat mini-glut.

Puds -- I like the boat operators. As I mentioned, I think HMAR has problems. This doesn't mean it won't go up with the herd though. Personally, I wouldn't own it.
