Harve, You are assumming a certain degree of rationality in the stock price, which has for the past two years supported a P/E in N/A range, and whose forward 98 P/E is estimated N/A ( a loss of 4c for the year according to estimates) This stock is essentially a crap shoot. And as sure did it go up, then it will come down. BTW as you have said NOT selling a stake is a +ve from a shareholder equity aspect. However another company taking an equity stake, is percieved as that companyies confidence in AMD's survival. Given AMD's dire need for cash, its survival is questionable!! Stockman
