I constructed the web site because I was sick and tired of defending the VSE, et al. I just couldn't do it even once more, that is, tell someone who is obviously so biased against juniors that they are trading vehicles of choice for an active trader, and that traders don't pass judgement on a deal per se, they just judge by how much $$ is in their account. I don't do seasonal trading I think. I just trade when there is opportunity: volatility and volume. When there isn't any, I just hang out and have a nice life. Sometimes there is an unexpected discovery, like Western Copper or Cross Lake that turns into an area play for a couple of months. That is when I trade like crazy. I don't buy and hold...ever. My longest holds are usually 1 week max, when I see a really good triangle on the daily chart. I buy 1/2 a position, hang in, and when it is resolved I buy or sell more into the big move. For example, right now I'm long Yamana (YRI:TSE). I've been long about three or four days just waiting around with 1/2 my position opened....just waiting...and waiting...in the meantime, I'll find little scalp trades to make a few pennies here and there. Remember, buy high, sell higher...buy low and sell high is a myth.
