Just a thought about Gold stocks...
I think the real reason behind the Gold drop was that gold couldn't be used by Europe to back up the Euro. Since there is only one year left before this unification and what I understand that now 30% of the currency can be backed by gold, that over a longer term period, ie. years, this sector should move up nicely.

Any comments? Is my understanding for gold and the Euro correct?

P.S. is this somehow related to the Buffet silver plan?
