Make sure they are not being used by your broker as margin lend stocks. If you have an account that you have margin capability on you cannot tell him over the phone not to lend the stock. You need to write to him and put him on notice not to do it. Better yet change the account to non margin. Many just do(lend stocks) it anyway and how are you to know. The best way is to get physical possession of the stock certs/ADRs and keep them in your safe place.
A lot of the smaller houses do not fully observe the rules as they know it is hard to catch them out.

Hello Littlebird You sure are happy. Have you not been watching the short attack on Crystallex, Mr. Asensio, a well known fraudster, has been attacking Crystallex trying to line his pockets. You should be aware of this. The fraudulent background of Mr. Asensio should be little cause for concern but his vicious short attack has to make you worry a little don't you think ? I see posters are here on this thread spreading all sorts of little suggestions and lies. This really is a poor stock to short, really is, I am glad you are long, but you should not be so happy yet. Wait till the courts announce a decision before buying that cottage. In the meantime, I would suggest that you look at the posters messages, the fraudulent background of Mr. Asensio should not be the topic of discussion. Just because he committed fraud and was on the losing side in judgement for $50,000 dollars should not give you any concern. When a shorter like Mr. Asensio, the guy who committed fraud in the past, gives his honest word on something, everybody should see that he is honest. Just because he was ordered to pay $50,000 for fraud before doesn't mean he is committing fraud again you know. I am glad you are long on KRY, do not give up just because the fraudulent past of Mr. Asensio bolsters his honest word now. Mr. Asensio has lots of money from his previous picks, I understand he is not very good at picking stocks to buy and he is very worried about KRY. Don't worry yourself Littlebird.
