Concentric Network Launches IP Voice Services Targeted at Network Carriers And Resellers Concentric Now Offers Aggressively Priced International Long Distance Service <> April 1, 1998 CUPERTINO, Calif., March 31 Concentric Network Corporation (Nasdaq: CNCX), a leader in IP network innovation, today announced at "Voice on the Net" the availability of low-cost, IP-based international long distance calling services for carriers and resellers. Concentric's Carrier IP Voice Services deliver aggressively priced, toll-quality international phone-to-phone calling to more than 200 countries around the world. The new service is targeted at facilities-based carriers and switch-based resellers. Concentric Network has joined forces with a consortium of industry-leading Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs) from around the world to create an international IP voice network that provides high quality, low cost international voice services over regular telephones. The consortium has deployed IP-PSTN voice gateways designed and manufactured by OzEmail-Interline(TM). As the exclusive U.S. affiliate of the Interline consortium, Concentric Network will gain access to OzEmail-Interline's recently announced refile hub arrangement with Teltran, enabling the company to offer low cost international long distance calling to virtually any country in the world.
