Hi Barbara,
It is hard to predict. Depends on the correction and what the catalyst is. If it is economic in nature the oil, oil service and precious metals might do well while the rest of the market drops. If it is valuation in nature, everyone will feel the effect.
I can only say read Dorsey's comments on "Governing ourselves". This gives a good idea what to do with your portfolio to "insure" it against damage. Whether you are in oil services or banks, you should know your risk level, stop points and fundamentals of the companies you hold. Portfolio management et all.
