A spherometer measures the curvature of a surface, most often of an astronomical mirror that is under construction.

Stock market indicators on the whole measure sentiment in comparison with previous situations.

Stock market crashes are more like volcanic eruptions or earthquakes than like regular changes in the seasons. We know that they are going to happen but it is hard to say when. Or perhaps a hurricane is a better example. If it's the right seasona and there's a big drop in the barometer and other signs, one may be coming.

All I am doing is checking these indicators and making guesses. I am experimenting more than predicting, right now.

The one thing that I am sure of is that the markets are terrible overvalued. Maybe this is like saying there is a huge snowpack, and an avalanche is likely. But what is going to set it off?
