Profits,

In his original SI profile, John claimed he's finished from CalTech. I seriously doubt it at first. However, the school is probably under Government pressure for affirmation action. It is not an ethic action the school had to take, it something else. His posted here unveiled all.

Profits,

In 1995, AMD's propaganda department hyped the heck out of K5. The product was a flop. AMD lost money.

In 1996/7, AMD's propaganda department hyped the heck out of K6. The product was scarcely available. AMD again lost money.

In 1998, AMD is desperate to acquire capital by issuing new shares. To keep the share price high, the propaganda department used a different tactics, rumors, to jack up the stock price. It apparently worked. Just wait until the cats are out of the bag.

By the way, there is no need to keep my mouth shut if I am right. Are you afraid of the truth? Is that why you are trying very hard to shut me down. Loser, go back to sleep.

Make it so,
John.
