Skeeter;

Haven't been reading this thread for a week or two. Been occupied working over my INTC straddle.

Day before yesterday I picked up 200 AMD call contracts, up 400% now and I expect them to go higher in the next few days.

Couple of factors that are needed to be considered with the MU situation.

1. Overall market cash flows. Mama-san and papa-san are alowed, for the first time ever, to invest in markets outside Japan. As of 4/1/98. These folks have been getting 1% on their money for years and must be itchin' to get into the US market.

2. MU has looked like short bait to me for a long time now. This stock defies ALL logic. To me that means that someone(s) is pulling strings big time. If that is the case then a short squeze move is a certanity.

3. Tonight probably looks like a pretty good time for folks to get their money out of Japan. So where does it go to? Any US stock that looks like it is going up. Why? Because the short squeze is on. Brokers will direct some of the new money toward MU.

I've thought about picking up some MU calls in the AM .. but I think that I don't like having my strings pulled.
