"Intel sees strong Asia PC growth". This happens to be where Dell is growing fastest (79% increase over prior year). Could we see even faster growth?

Peter, you're absolutely right. The problem is that none of us knows what tomorrow will bring in the markets. Invariably you buy stock A and it goes down. You don't buy stock B because you think it's going down, but it keeps going up and you never get in. You sell stock C because you think it's over-valued and it proceeds to double over the next six months.

This kind of thing used to be the story of my life. Now, I buy if I like the fundamentals of the company and the price doesn't seem too high (qualitatively). I sell only when my reason for buying has disappeared. So I no longer worry about optimizing my return, and the result is that my returns have become much higher.

Regards,

Paul
