Jack,

Great!! One of my gripes with TAVA is that Mr. Jenkins may be a little TOO conservative with releasing news or updates on the status of engagements.

However, there may be some restrictions being placed upon them by their clients, thus requiring a degree of silence.

Let's face it, Embedded Systems problems with Y2K is a relatively under-reported issue and since companies are yet to fully come to grips with the costs involved, they are likely very cautious about a panic ensuing based on preliminary data.

But I do know that Jenkins needs to come through with the goods when it comes to revenue growth (as well as earnings). Conservatism may protect his legal "keister", but it also creates an aura similar to Microsoft's; also cautioning the street, yet exceeding expectations each and every quarter.

I will be looking rather hard at revenue growth since we all know that earings can be tweaked as MSFT apparently does using cash reserves to offset operational costs. With revenues increasing, earnings will eventually follow.

Again long TAVA for 1998.

Regards,

Ron
