En Pointe has been drifting lower over the past several days but the TA now looks good.

The company is lousy at returning phone calls. I have tried repeatedly to contact their CFO and CEO and never have gotten a phone call returned. If this is typical of how they treat analysts, then there is no wonder that the stock price is in the dumps. A lack of attention by management usually means one of tow things; that sales and earnings are lower than expectations or that they just do not value letting the investment community know how the company is doing. Given the uncertainty, many analysts and advisors will assume the worse scenario. The gal that handles their IR is usually pleasant but does not have much to say, either through design or ignorance of the details.

I contacted a couple of the regional sales offices and spoke with their sales managers. At least in these offices the story was very confident. The Seattle and San Francisco offices were reported to be doing record levels of business that exceeded sales targets. They thought that sales were going well as a whole but could only speak to their own numbers. I hope to contact a couple more regional offices next week to try to get a better aggregate understanding. If sales are on target with statements that were made by the CEO during the last couple of conference calls, then it should be an excellent time to buy. The IR spokesperson has said as far as she knows that sales and earnings were on tract to meet expectations. If this is the case and management's silence is just arrogance or indifference, then the drop in price is probably due to unreasonable fears and corresponsding lack of interest on the part of the investment community.
