Frank, the SI forums are here to stay. Some, like Kaiser, may be threatened by them because this is competition. After all people subscribe to newsletters not just for information but for ANY kind of buzz. This thread satisfies that need (almost) free. It's a real low blow but perhaps also a compliment to be singled out. Some people single out internet threads because they do not understand them. If a stock spikes up they blame the internet (as I believe Ashton brass did last year). Check the charts, stocks have been spiking up on rumors since the beginning of time. And if you read some good old books you will hear of all the ways in which stock players got 'the scuttlebutt'. Granted it's now different because the brokers control less of the scuttlebutt, and there is simply more of it. A friend of mine was quoted in a couple of Globe and Mail stories mentioning SI threads, not necessarily a pleasant experience if you don't want the limelight. Basically people should get used to the fact that these boards offer a mixture of devious and wrong information with a genuine attempt to get at the facts. After a while, you get to know who to trust and who not to trust, just like real life. Frank, you have been loyal to this play for a long time, and without knowledgeable posters like yourself we'd (1) know less and (2) be very bored. So keep it up my friend. SI is an amazing place, a lot of the people on here catch onto new companies and new trends far in advance of the media, analysts, and the general investment community. Maybe there is a lesson in that: be careful of being 'right too soon'. Good luck to all in the Alberta play. We'll have better luck if something is found soon by the satellites, we need some more excitement. (Too bad about those April Fool's blues and pinks, eh?)
