Yes, that's a good point. Consolidation would help everybody, but I think yesterday's action may be indicative of an overall market shift. (Skeptics plse note the may.)

Anyway I think WDC looks interesting today, both as a play on the industry and on the off-chance that there may be something to the rumors. I am long SEG since the 30's and it remains the only DD maker I now own. Trying to cover my APM short at 11.75.
