<<Well, we have to partly blame on IR as well. No news is actually bad news for any rally. They had excellent opportunity to sustain the rally at 14+. >>

Do you really believe that that's their job??

Raj,

<When you see SYNT/CBSL/MAST (lately even UBIX) all shot up sky high, you get frustrated.>

Compare percentage gain since March '97 for SYNT/CBSL/MAST against TAVA during same period:-)) CBSL & MAST both went thru periods of price stagnation last year. I kept telling people last year that MAST was a "sleeper", but pretty much got ignored. Traders were more interested in "where the action was." Now look at MAST.

Patience paid off then, and will pay off now.

<But what I have seen is respected individuals either spread rumours or put mental blocks on price range.>

I agree with you, I've seen it, and I don't like it either. A week or so ago I heard the RUMOR (when stock was around 14) that TAVA was going to do a secondary at 15. (Now I see it's a private placement at 17.) I went to the source ... TokyoMex. He told ME his reasoning was based on something Scott told him last fall. A lot has happened since then.

I've TOTALLY discounted this RUMOR. But, you're right ... newbies get influenced ... and, as we all know ... rumors DO affect stock price.

Traders will ALWAYS talk about mental targets. That's to be expected. But, rumors based on a conversation from 6 months ago ... that's another story.

Joe's back to big-time trading, while maintaining a substantial core position in TAVA. His hands were tied for about 6 months, when TAVA wasn't marginable. Of course he wants TAVA to pull-back so he can pick up more shares. Actually, any of us with extra money would like a pull-back to pick up more. This was the week I told my relatives to buy more shares - so I have had selfish motives for wanting a temporary pull-back.

Cheryl
