LUCENT AND AWARE IN DSL CHIP DEAL - Check It Out Copyright (C) 1998 TeleChoice, Inc. April 1, 1998 -- Aware quietly signed up Lucent to a major chip licensing deal late last year, and word of it has just come out in the firm's 10K filing at the SEC. "In 1997, the Company entered into an agreement with Lucent Technologies, Inc. ("Lucent") to develop DSL Lite software that will operate on Lucent digital signal processors ("DSPs").
