Following ancient Druid customs, I studied the entrails of a sacrificed bull and noticed a few things today... (Ok, I was surfing the 'net!) Once thing I noticed that will definitely have an impact in the future is that the Senate Judiciary Committee has come up with a bill making it much more difficult for individuals to declare bankruptcy (and to shelter their assets from being seized by creditors.) (Last year, more than a million and a half people filed for bankruptcy in the U.S.) Also, did you see read the details of what the president of Sony said? He said that Japan is on the verge of an economic collapse that threatens not only Asia, but the U.S. economy as well. Add to the list that earnings are going to be down quite a bit for the first quarter (and for 1998) and you have something nasty starting to take shape. Paul McGinnis
