So, everyone, what have we got? I'm sure we all have mixed emotions about the latest news, depending on what our average cost basis price is with IDX. As for me, three things keep coming to mind.

1. Biometrics is at the beginning stages of its growth - growth which could (will) be enormous over time. In my view, biometrics is an industry which MUST happen - there is no question about that.

2. What is the best way to profit from the growth in biometrics? We have seen a number of other companies like NRID, DBII, FINX and other wannabes are having a much tougher time than IDX. What about large companies like Lockheed or IBM? Well, the trouble with those companies is that biometrics is just one small slice of their overall business. In looking at biometric companies IDX appears to be the best play on the industry.

3. Buffet says when you invest in a company it shouldn't matter even if the stock market were to close for five years. You should still want to own the company.

At this point I still think in time we will be rewarded for keeping the faith with IDX.
