To All: DirectPC experience to date is summarized in the following Frost and Sullivan web page. C* is mentioned as one of the future satellite internet networks services.

frost.com

An example of the potential corporate business is illustrated in the report with the below passage:
"Parenthetically, the consumer business is only one side to HNS's DirecPC strategy; corporate sales are the other. So Volkswagen of Europe, for instance, is in the midst of upgrading its DirecPC network to 6,000 sites, for applications such as software delivery and distance learning. The corporate side of the satellite-Internet business parallels the more mature very small aperture terminal (VSAT) satellite data industry, and will be addressed in a subsequent article."

Any opinions on the split between consumer and corporate usage of satellite internet services?

Go C* Go!
