Where did you see their target price on CPQ. I didn't see it mentioned in the article.

Rude, resellers influence 2/3rds of all Corp sales and can't make a decent dime from Dell. Corps still buy from Dell because of the service third-party service, until they need it and it ain't there. CPQ has DEC and only needs to get their act together. Then, bye-bye Dell. Honestly .. can anyone say that Dell PCs are technically better than anyone else's PCs. Not! They simply offer a toll-free order line and a promise that someone will show up IF you ever have a problem. Reality sets in when my sister calls me to say that Dell put her on and off hold for two hours when her diskette drive died, then her CD-ROM died .. as they spoke. Or when my Dell portable needed a part and they said .. YEH .. we can do that .. just PROVE that it is broken first and THEN ... Or about the MODEM they sold me that you can't upgrade even though the web site says that you can (proprietary Dell part numbers ...) I tell a lot of people to buy Dell. And the only reason I do that is because CPQ has yet to asssimilate DEC. But once that CPQ has DEC for support, Gateway will make Dell look like a cow, and CPQ will own the business marketplace. IMHO, long on CPQ, NSM, TSM, QNTM, etc. And buy your next burger at Wendy's because I'm long on WEN too! Craig
