Greenspan presently answering questions following National Newspaper Editors luncheon. Dow approaching 9,000 now 8988.89

He's speaking like a man who knows the whole world is hanging on his every word. His words seem to imply a minor acquiesience to some of the views of the "new paradigm", e.g. inventory control efficiencies, further spreading of capitalism, and (Asian) growing pains of such.

Now addressing Y2K question - "Year 2000 will arrive".

Rev, PNDA is a great short. Don't forget that it has an outstanding floorless convertible and very little cash. I shorted it several times today as it went up and hope that I get the opportunity to short at higher levels tomorrow. It will eventually crash again.
