i will get out when i hear that the sector or their management has problems. until that occurs i tend to buy when i follow an industry leader and their is a huge sell-off. occasionally i make a big mistake, but in a diversified porfolio--ain't no big deal.

think of all the guys who sold off yhoo, xcit, aol, csco, msft, intc etc. when there was a small earnings warning.
