Dell fined $800,000 by FTC
Dell Computer Corp. (DELL) will pay a reported $800,000 fine imposed by the Federal Trade Commission because it sold its Dimension PCs without a piece of software it was advertised as having. Dell did not tell consumers that their PC would not have the Dell Software Suite, instead sending them a coupon for the software, a violation of mail-order rules. -- Michael Fitzgerald, ZDNN

$800,000 is not that much money to a giganticaly hughe company like DELL, but For one of the best run companies ever, I find it funny that they have been ripping some people off and got cought.
