That's interesting that you picked MXIM. I had puts on them last week which I sold. Made about 30% on them. The problem with MXIM is the slight downtrend. I've noticed its only been trading between $35 and $37 but today it broke out of that range and went up to $37.50. Its going to have trouble getting past the upper bollinger band at just under $38. There's other resistance there too and the there's the downtrend. I wouldn't play it long, however, I'd look for an opportunity to short--its not there quite yet.

On ORCL I think the price is going to go down. The volatility is kind of low. I wouldn't have shorted where you did because its not that high of a percentage play. Its working out so far. The trend was up but now its neutral. I'd cover the short at the lower band which is currently at about $28.375.

Anyone with any stochastic trading ideas??

How's CTXS looking for a short play...It's had a huge run-up and over the past two days it's fallen off about 3 points from a high of 57. I've traded this one many times before and seen it go up and down 4 or 5 points in one day on no news.

Also, wish I would have gotten into SEEK...still maybe an opportunity here?? opinions?? I don't like to get into stocks after they've had there initial run up, but there may be some upside left in this one. It's gone from 18-22 over the past few days.

Just noticed that RMDY is rolling up over 3 points in the past two days.

Anyway, I'm open to any opinions or ideas? Also watching GTW for a short play.

Wayne,

After seeing ORCL today I'm starting to wish that I had played a few shares instead of just paper trading it. It got as low as 27 3/4.
