Dear Darrel :

Thanks for the insights. It would be nice to see the pundits and the analysts pick up on this stock. Right now it is somewhat underfollowed by Wall Street. As a matter of fact other than Oppenheimer who brought it public do you know who follows it?

Regards and Thanks,

John Dowd

For those asking:

Orckit does not trade in Israel. It is not an ADR. It is a foreign company trading in the US.

Over 100 Israeli hi-tech exporter trade in the US, and only in the US. They bypassed the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The companies generally report in dollars and have the bulk of their sales outside of Israel.
It is an incredible phenomenon for a foreign nation.

And yes, there is a Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The big domestic companies, banks, etc. are all trading over there. And yes, some of them do trade in the US as ADRs.

Tel Aviv market is open from Sundays through Thursdays, every week.

Hope that helps.
