Can you get delivery of your certificates? If so then you can transfer them to another account.

Hi Nic,

I would think that you could open another account with a different
broker and transfer everything that you currently have even if they are
in street name. I know you can do it with commodities and I have been
told by other brokers that want my business that all you have to do is
give them your account# and the name of the stocks you have and they have
72hrs. to do the transfer.

I suggest that you give another broker a call and ask them, see what they
say. There is a form that you need to fill out and that is it. They will
do all the work for you.

Ron

Just declare the shares worthless on your income taxes! Take it as a writeoff against any gains you may have from another stock. If necessary, your broker will provide you a certificate of "worthlessness".

Sorry but that is what they are, worthless. Why pay (and you will) to have useless paper transferred?

Can't believe how fast the year has gone! And still some of you , after all this! still want to believe!? Folks, it's over! Period.

Gold has bottomed, in the meantime, and the time to be buying gold stocks is at hand.
