To all: TSC (TheStreet.Com) just published a piece on CIEN. Overall, I would say the piece is bullish; it gives me hope, anyway. Bottom line is that CIEN is "suffering because shorts are lobbing speculative bombs at it." However, according to at least one unnamed money manager, the "stock is a gift to you at these prices." Article implies that BA may be leaning toward CIEN, not LU, re: latest deal--CIEN contract is final, whereas LU and BA still in negotiations. Also, re: Worldcom and others, article suggests that the issue is simply timing of revenue to CIEN, not if sales will be made. BTW, I recommend TSC to all of you--a lot of bang for the buck IMO.
