Acquired all my shares in Badger about two years ago at about $.90. <g>.

This indeed appears to be an extremely well-run, fast-growing company with a big leg up in a rather boring and obscure--but potentially enormously profitable--utilities/industrial market nitch. Plus it now has manufacturing capabilities and in this way and others is becoming increasingly vertically integrated. For the first time in two years, I am seriously considering increasing my position.

I wasn't aware of this possibility in large inch pipelines. I'd be surprised if outfits like TCPL and IPL won't develop these skills inhouse rather than contracting out for these services. I think you'll see more inspection work coming from inside the province. The AEUB seems to be demanding inspections on the older lines in the province and with the infrastructure getting older, I expect you'll see a brisk business in this type of inspection.

Interestingly enough, the pending D&K acquisition should really give some growth. There are few companies in this line of business and D&Ks biggest competitor has a shaky reputation. As long as the D&K staff remains, the acquisition should be positive. On a related technology item, I'd like to see D&K develop a directional push rig for non-bored directional crossings. This type of technology is quickly becoming in demand.
