America Online Inc. (AOL) began notifying some of its subscribers
Thursday they may be eligible to participate in tests for
higher-speed Internet access. AOL said it will evaluate Digital
Subscriber Line (xDSL) broadband services provided by GTE
Internetworking. The company said this test makes it the first
national Internet service provider to offer xDSL to residential
customers. AOL members using xDSL technology can achieve
transmission speeds as much as 25 times faster than a standard
28.8K modem,...

... With faster transmission speeds Macr can grow better and faster..
What do you think about?

Alex.
