I have a successful wife and two very successful daughters at very young ages (26 & 28), its this sexist pig that could not be happier with a WOMAN VP.

>>PS. You sexist pig. Being a woman has nothing to do with anything <g> :-)

If I heard right, one of the original 3 founders of Informix was a woman, and I think she was also in marketing until about 1988, when she retired to take care of a child she had just had. Is my memory correct here, Steve?

The threads you've been seeing about the wins in Florida and New Jersey are true. It
appears to me that IFMX is happy to let these 2 wins leak out. Both are significant in
that one is large (in an ORCL shop) and the other is, at least in part, a SYBS
replacement. How they account for the large NJ deal revenue is yet to be seen but I
now see the steps going forward.

Finnochio has consistently recognized revenue conservatively. i doubt that now he will veer from that approach. This deal does not mean Q1 will be a block buster IMO. I feel pretty strongly that IFMX will be happy to beat estimates for a string of consecutive quarters (and i have made bets to that effect even though i am already extremely long). Every big deal means a new revenue stream for some number of quarters going forward. life could be sweet...assuming your contacts are correct.
