Barron's mentioned in passing that spending by companies on Y2K problems would divert $ from systems integration projects and would hurt companies like Sapient et al. From my vantage point I see a lot of departments within particular companies using the windfall of Y2K $ to do systems integration projects, upgrades, etc. that they normally would not have the resources for. And there is still significant consolidation within the financial services sector that generates plenty of opportunities for Sapient. - Scotk
