Thanks for the research. Thought a big company might eat up CNT some day. Remember reading that they are they only company in fibre channel networking that isn't already owned by a larger company. Could EMC want the whole ball of wax? What would the selling price be if so? It would be ironic (for me) to receive more EMC stock, the company that has put me on easy street.

Bradley, <<did you get a chance to look at the channel director on the EMC website? >> Tried to access it last night, but after loading the product description file to acrobat reader my system froze up on page 9. <g> I'll try again later. Based on what i have read so far it sure sounds similar to the CNT Storage Director product. I wonder if McData, who was big in ESCON i believe, could have put something like the Channel Director together using the Silkworm FC technology ? It's nice to see you haven't lost your keen research eye after being almost blinded by intense radiation from the Sun. <g> Neil
