I was hoping to start this thread myself...

I got all excited when I saw Digital River mentioned prominently in a Street.com article last Friday. I got even more excited when I saw that TSQD owns 26% of the SO of DR.

DR will be a much anticipated IPO later this year. What I find interesting is that TSQD reports DR's financials in its own 10K. DR had net revenues of 2 million last year, only 110K the year before. In the Street.com article, the DR CEO says revenues growing 20-40% "per month" in 1998. If that is a compounded rate, that means DR could be doubling revenue every two months.

The only way to play DR at this point is to own TSQD. And if DRs IPO is like DCLKs or ATHMs, we could see TSQD in double digits just based on its ownershiop interest in DR alone. Remember CMGI back in 1994? A overlooked stock in single digits, until somebody mentioned that CMGI owned alot of AOL stock. CMGI went from 7 to 90 just based on the valuation of AOL alone.

I couldn't believe it that TSQD didn't soar on Monday based on the Street.com article Friday. But that's OK <g>.
