I think that's what's happening here. I'm trying to get a mutual-interest thing going between the three parties. Everybody wins. 1)I get a bigger lot, ideally zoned to allow expanding my 1000sq.ft. three-and-one into a real family house, not the Chia Shack it is. And I get peace-and-quiet next door - until the next time El Nino drops a hot one across the pines!! 2) The utility gets the simplest way to abate an attractive nuisance that never made itself known to the higher awareness centers. 3) The city gets to take credit for an innovative plan to benefit the homeowners and beautify the city. I smell a PR coup.
