Hello Leo & Kurt, COS/COSFF is appearing attractive again. Looks like Corel may have shaken most of the dirt out its financial statements. Has COS/COSFF bottomed out? I hope so. At least A/R is lower than sales, and some logical strategic initiatives are looming on the horizon, making this quarter and the next positive, yet pivotal. I Purchased Draw 8 a couple of months ago. Its a "class" product from top to bottom. Corel has created good symmetry with the Suite in functionality, particularly the "Perfect Expert" tutorial every step of the way. It works the same as the Suite applications. CorelScan 8 is also a nifty little piece of Photo Paint 8. It makes the scanning process simple and effective. Maybe you've tried it, but I was quite impressed. Corel does need improvement in its Web products however. Maybe Corel's agreement with Compaq as announced today will be the "jump start" to facilitate Suite sales. But if revenue doesn't increase soon, more losses are on the way and the share price will recede again. First quarter results show there is not much time to cut costs or boost revenues. I hope Dr. Cowpland's comment of an increase in cash to $30 M is attributable to increased sales and not merely a reduction in receivables. When a high-profile company like Corel has difficulty, it usually takes six to eight quarters to implement strategies to return to profitably. Now is certainly the time to load up on shares. Those who pick up shares now have a "reasonable expectation" of "reasonable odds" of good price appreciation over the next two or three years if the strategies succeed. There are always "downsides," and Corel's downsides have been pretty well exhausted in the past year or so on this thread, my help included. Corel has great products, and I feel this is the upside. A few smart moves in "CREATING EXCITEMENT" for those products and well . . . the rest is in the bank. To expect a profitable year this year seems too optimistic, even for me. But next year I think there is an excellent chance for realistic stock appreciation. Reading your posts and articles has been fun. . . Scott
