What the chairman of Sony said is shared by all the major ceo's in Japan. That economy has been in a state of decay for the past 8 years or so. growth is on the verge of going negative; demand is non-existent; unemployment is increasing; fraud among bureaucrats is rampant, and their financial sector is a joke. Every day on the newswires you get to read stories and statements from japanese politicians stating that "they are monitoring the situation" and are "ready to act". They have been repeating that line of b.s. for years. Nothing has changed. regards
