jean,
Bad bet! We are looking for the same result. However, if the same acquisition pattern continues, IDX will purchase another company and have another one time write off. True we want growth. I have no debate with this. I do have a concern with how they are growing at this point. They have become a sizable organization, and need to change their acquisition policy to reflect this maturity to Wall Street.

Management needs to concentrate on growing stock holder value. Don't pay stock holder dividends with profits, retain the dividends. The value of the stock grows, and it becomes a better acquisition tool. It takes fewer shares to purchase another company, and stock holder value is enhanced not diminished with good strategic acquisitions.

This is a simple inadequate communication on a complex capital management topic. I also realize there are market and opportunity timing issues.

IDX is entering a more complex stage of growth at this point. It is not easy to exercise the discipline necessary to successfully grow into the next level. It will take more then just selling ten printers.
